Economics is much more than just a business field. Students will study human behavior to explain and predict how people and organizations interact and why they do what they do. That might involve how managers can increase their profits, but it's also about societal issues like the distribution of wealth and income, health care, immigration, education, crime, poverty, drugs, pollution.

Combined Degree Programs

Admission Requirements
Because economics is a department in the Seidman College of Business, students must achieve a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA, have completed 55 semester hours, achieved a 2.5 or higher combined GPA in 生态 210, 生态 211, STA 215 to be admitted to the economics program.
