Attending one of our events is a great way to get information about graduate programs at Grand Valley. Whether you want general graduate school information, details pertaining to a specific program, or just want to see what GVSU has to offer, we have what you are looking for below.
Area of Interest Sessions
For program specific advising or information about graduate assistantships, we recommend you contact your graduate program of interest 或者从 scheduling an appointment with our Graduate 博天堂官方 team. We’ll go over information about GVSU, any questions you may have about the application, financial aid and financing your degree, and any other topics you want to cover.

Learn the ins-and-outs of obtaining a graduate degree, badge, or certificate. These online events vary from session-to-session and cover topics, such as choosing the right program, financial aid opportunities, navigating the application process, tips on furthering your education, 和更多的. One-on-one sessions are also available if you would like something more personal.

Grand Valley attends multiple graduate fairs throughout the year. This is a great way to get program information and ask questions.
国际学生 Info Session
Join our International Admission and Recruitment team in a live-hosted Virtual Information Session! This hour-long Zoom session will help you learn more about why Grand Valley is a great place for graduate studies. We will discuss many topics including the application process, 学术项目, 研究, internships and funding opportunities. Virtual Information Sessions are hosted through Zoom. These sessions are intended for 研究生 who have not applied to Grand Valley.
International 录取的学生 Info Session
Now that you've been 承认 as a 研究生, what's next? Join the International 博天堂官方 team for a live-hosted 录取的学生 Information Session! During this Zoom session, 我们将讨论住房问题, 课程安排, funding opportunities and much more. You will also be able to get answers to your individual questions. This session is intended for 研究生 who have been 承认 to Grand Valley.
Not Finding What You're Looking For?
You can make an individual appointment! Prospective 研究生 are encouraged to visit campus or schedule an individual appointment with our Graduate 博天堂官方 office. All appointments will cover information about the university, specific questions about the application, and financial aid/financing your degree. Prospective 研究生 who wish to meet with a graduate program directly are encouraged to contact specific graduate programs for more information regarding visit opportunities.

- "Is Graduate School Right For Me?”研讨会 - You’ll learn practical tips on how to prepare for grad school, and how to enhance your grad application and profile.
- 研究生申请 Workshops - These hour-long working sessions/virtual office hours are for students who have questions regarding their graduate application or quite simply need a time and space set aside to work on completing it.
- Admitted Graduate Student Next Steps Session - These are 45 minute Zoom sessions which focus on what you need to know as an 承认 研究生. You will learn about course registration, funding opportunities and we will walk through the 承认 研究生 checklist.
